I am an allround fashion designer with more than 10 years of experience as a freelancer. I have worked for a wide range of companies in the fashion industry, designing clothes, accessories, sportswear, bags and shoes. My passion is to design commercial products which are suitable for a large group of customers, so I can see them come along in the streets. In 1990 I graduated with a BA at the art academy of Kampen and started working as an independant designer at a styling & design office. Soon other companies hired me for my skills, so my group of customers became larger, Mostly by word of mouth advertisement. I started working in Amsterdam but now I am based in Emmen for more than 20 years. I have been working in the past aswell at home as on site. I have great CAD skills and work with illustrator, canvas, photoshop and coreldraw.
I am experienced in designing for women, men and children (casual, denim and sportswear) from concept to salesmen samples (woven and knitwear), including artwork as embroideries, prints, all over patterns, labels, metal accessories and hangtags. I also design bags, shoes, baby blankets and knitted winter accessories. I like to keep my knowledge of designing wide, because I think it all has to do with eachother. So my design projects were also for a broad range of companies and therefore for a large target groep. So at the same time I can design womens clothing, but also bags or sportswear. That keeps me up-to-date and allround and of course I also find lots of things interesting.
My clients are based through the whole of the Netherlands, but also based in germany.
